The Restorative Justice Council have published Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) children- access to, and experiences of, restorative justice guide (2017).

The guide is based on the findings from an eight-month research project and aims to explore ethnic minorities (excluding White minorities) children- access to, and experiences of, restorative justice.

One of the aims of the project was to develop an evidence-based set of recommendations for the effective use of restorative justice with ethnic minorities (excluding White minorities) children who are involved in the youth justice system, with a view to increase the number of children who access restorative justice and improving the experiences of those who do.
