Access to the evaluation from the Department of Education Pilot concerned with understanding if secure accommodation can provide a therapeutic environment and engage sexually exploited children.
Description:
The Department for Education published Aycliffe Child Sexual Exploitation Innovation Project Evaluation Report (2016). The evaluation report, is based on a pilot which tested the question: can secure accommodation provide a therapeutic environment, engage sexually exploited children with appropriate therapeutic support and support their transitions into a safer life in the community?
The Pilot was created following the concern with child sexual exploitation and the difficulties of keeping exploited children safe in the community, which had resulted in more referrals of sexually exploited children to secure accommodation.
