The Association of Directors of Children’s Services have published a discussion paper; building a county that works for all children post COVID-19.

The purpose of the discussion paper is to put children and young people and their lived experiences of Covid-19 front and centre in national recovery planning whilst articulating what is needed to restore and re-set the public support services they rely on.

It also seeks to capture the positives and gains made during a very complex national and global emergency and sets out the Association’s early thinking on the strategic risks that need addressing in order to ensure children are safe, cared for, succeed in learning and thrive.
