Description:
Lancashire Child First Pathfinder have shared their diversion tracking spreadsheet, which aims to monitor the effectiveness of Child First diversion services and report back on key performance indicators both internally and externally.
Lancashire Child and Youth Justice Service record each child that is referred into the diversion service and their outcomes. The tracker is reviewed on a quarterly basis, to check if the child has re-entered the Service as a first-time entrant.
The data should be analysed on a quarterly or bi-annually basis and insights should be fed back to the youth justice management board and used to inform future developments of the diversion service.
Lancashire Child First Pathfinder have also provided the screening and assessment tools used with children who are being diverted from the youth justice system and can be tracked with the spreadsheet.
