Local Data Mapping Tool: Youth Justice Maps – Youth Justice Board (year ending March 2023)

Summary:

The Youth Justice Board has published local data mapping tools to support youth justice services and partners to have an overview of children cautioned and court sentences, proven offences and cautions and court sentences given to children from March 2022 to March 2023.

Description:

As part of the Youth Justice annual statistics, youth justice service level maps have also been published.

Local level mapping tool – Children cautioned and court sentence(this shows the rates of children cautioned or sentenced per 1,000 of the general 10-17 aged population).
Local level mapping tool – Proven offences committed by children (this shows rates of proven offences per 1,000 of the general 10-17 aged) population.
Local level mapping tool – Cautions and court sentences given to children (this shows rates of caution and court sentences per 1,000 of the general 10-17 aged population)

The data included in the mapping tools can be viewed at YJS and regional levels.
