The Youth Justice Board have published a short video around Trauma Informed Practice for the October 2021 developing practice forums in England.  The video is a universal resource, which contains references to Wales.

The video can be used in team meetings as a platform to start reflections and team conversations around:

  • How have you developed it in your Service?
  • Have you developed trauma informed approaches; if so what do they look like?
  • What are the barriers and challenges you have faced?
  • How have you overcome them?
  • If you have developed trauma informed practice have you seen any benefits and are you planning to evaluate?
  • What support do you feel you need to develop trauma-informed practice?
