Participation with children

Children who are actively engaged, and meaningfully participate are more likely to be successful in their journey towards a positive future and desistence from crime. Children should be central to assessment and be active in shaping plans to address their needs. In this way they are a crucial part of the solution to transforming their lives for the better.

This section of the YJ Resource Hub provides information around different aspects of participation, from child friendly formats to type of methods to work with children effectively to support their participation journey.
