Quality Assurance Report Feedback Form – Camden Youth Offending Service with 6 other Services (November 2020)

Summary: Attached is a copy of the template used with magistrates and district judges to provide feedback on the quality of information of report, co-created by seven youth justice services.

 

 

Aims:

  • Capture feedback from magistrates and district judges to support improvement of Court reports.
  • Support the 7 services to gather feedback around improving ways to address disproportionality.

 

 

Description:
Camden, Enfield, Hammersmith & Fulham, Haringey, Islington, Kensington & Chelsea, and Westminster youth justice services have shared a blank template usded to gather feedback from magistrates and district judges around general feedback on reports and how disproportionality has been addressed.

The purpose of the feedback is support the services to continue to develop and improvement their practice around reports and help consider the way the services address disproportionality.

 

 

Implementing the practice:

  • The feedback form has been agreed and discussed with magistrates that sit on Highbury Corner Court.
  • The feedback form is provided to the Bench/DJ together with the report and they fill it in during the day and then give it back to the service the same day.
