A template letter to send to children following the completion of their Referral Order designed by Tameside youth justice service.

Description:

Attached below is the template letter that Tameside YJS send to the children following their completion of the Referral Order. Below in a pdf format is information regarding spent convictions, which provides information to children on declaring their offence/s when applying for employment for example, which is sent together with the letter.

Implementing the practice:

  • Following the final review panel and formal closure by the YJS, the letter and information leaflet are sent to the children.
  • The Restorative Justice and Victim Officer Tameside YJS send the letter out to all the children.
