Description:
Remedi have created a remote package for reparation activities that enable children to continue to comply with their Orders. The reparation sessions, which have associated packs that the children are able to access throughout the week/weekend in shorter session blocks of time. The work that is completed by the children is digitally gifted to the local community, through Remedi.
Remedi have provided an overview of the remote reparation model that also includes some examples of the work completed by children through the programme.
Remedi run the reparation sessions on behalf of Derby youth justice service. Remedi practitioners contact the child individually and together agree the most appropriate programme/work to be undertaken. The children are provided with a resource pack with creative equipment to undertake the tasks in advance of the session. Following complition children are required to email photographs of their work to Remedi reparation supervisions and/or case managers. Once the hours are completed, the work is collected at the door step visits.
