The Restorative Justice Council have published Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) children’s access to, and experiences of, restorative justice guide (2017). 

The guide is based on the findings from an eight-month research project and aims to explore ethnic minorities (excluding White minorities) children’s access to, and experiences of, restorative justice.

One of the aims of the project was to develop an evidence-based set of recommendations for the effective use of restorative justice with ethnic minorities (excluding White minorities) children who are involved in the youth justice system, with a view to increase the number of children who access restorative justice and improving the experiences of those who do.
