Some remain structurally separate from other teams in the local authority, while others have become more integrated. This research focused on the concept of integration; exploring how youth justice services are currently structured, what “integration” means for to service and case managers, and the advantages and challenges of different approaches.
Whispers equine assisted learning programme

Located in Neath Port Talbot, Wales, the Whispers equine assisted learning (EAL) programme is a unique trauma-informed intervention. Delivered in partnership with the local youth justice service and social services, the programme combines the benefits of experiential learning involving horses with expert guidance from trained facilitators.
