The toolkit aims to address some of the gaps in knowledge and offer suggestion for supporting children who are at risk of, or being trafficked for the purpose of criminal exploitation.

The toolkit includes information regarding;

  • What is child criminal exploitation and county lines;
  • The context of criminal exploitation;
  • Some of the factors that may increase the risk that a child or young person can become exploited by others;
  • Some of the barriers to engagement
  • A range of practical tips and recommendations for professional.
