Attached below are examples from four different Services in England – Barnet YOT, Bristol YOS, Southwark YOT and Tameside YJS on how they have adapted the Referral Order contracts in order to be accessible to their children and families.

- Southwark YOT – Referral Order contract (2018)
- Tameside YJS - Referral Order contract (2020)
Implementing the Practice:
- The contract is written up at the time of the panel and signed
- The children and their parents/carers receive a copy
- The Community Panel Members also receive a copy (which is kept on site)
- In Bristol YOT, the number of sessions/hours is not agreed for interventions, due to the complex needs of children, to ensure that they are provided an opportunity to succeed
- The number of hours is agreed for the reparation programme
