How to Make Resettlement Constructive document (attached), launches resettlement and transitions as a Youth Justice Board’s priority. This key document lays out the current evidence base in resettlement work, YJB thinking and in turn our current work plan to support an evidence based approach in this area.

Constructive Resettlement differs from previous approaches in that it places at its core, enabling the child to shift their identity from pro criminal to pro social through both individualised personal support and personalised structural support.

The document is also a formal invitation to the sector to join us in making Constructive Resettlement a reality and drive improved outcomes for children.
