The Ministry of Justice has produced guidance documents for youth justice services on the Youth Rehabilitation Orders with Intensive Supervision and Surveillance (YRO ISS) Pilot.
Description
The YRO ISS Pilot is due to launch from 3rd July 2023 across youth justice services in Wales, London, North East and West Midlands. The Ministry of Justice have made available a YRO ISS Overview and FAQ pack detailing the key information. An overview of the Pilot is also available in Welsh. A YRO ISS Pilot Trail Monitoring Guidance document has also been produced to provide further detail on the electronic/trail monitoring aspect of the Pilot The YRO ISS Electronic Monitoring Curfew Safeguarding Guidance Letter should be read in conjunction with the YRO ISS Pilot Trail Monitoring Guidance.
Please note that the new YRO ISS Powers are only available for children convicted on or after 3rd July 2023.
